8/18/2014 North Carolina’s July Employment Figures Released
RALEIGH — The state’s seasonally adjusted July unemployment rate was 6.5 percent, increasing 0.1 of a percentage point from June’s revised rate of 6.4 percent. The national rate increased 0.1 of a percentage point to 6.2 percent.

8/27/2014 North Carolina’s July County and Area Employment Figures Released
RALEIGH — Unemployment rates (not seasonally adjusted) increased in 95 of North Carolina’s counties in July, decreased in four, and remained unchanged in one. However, when compared to the same month last year, not seasonally adjusted unemployment rates decreased in all 100 counties. All 14 metro areas experienced rate decreases over the year.
