Apply for EUC08 Benefits
When you exhaust your regular UI claim, ESC will enroll you in EUC08 if you are eligible. A written notice will be mailed to you.
FAC Questions & Answers
As of April 1, 2009, if your weekly certification for benefits results in any amount due from ESC, you will receive an additional
payment amount of $25.00 under the Federal Additional Compensation program. Payments for FAC will be made in the same manner as
your other benefits (direct deposit or debit card).
EB Questions & Answers
Applying for EB Benefits
If you exhaust your EUC08 benefits, you may be eligible for Extended Benefits (EB). You must Apply for EB to enroll in this program.
While filing for EB, you must make a sustained and systematic effort to find work. These requirements are met when you seek work on at least 2 different days and make a total of 2 contacts with potential employers or an agent or representative of potential employers each week. To help you keep written records of your work search efforts, download Form NCUI 506E. You will be required to report to your ESC local office in person to provide the work search records.
Forms & Notices:
If your EUC08 or EB benefits roll over from your regular UI claim, your payments will be made in the same manner. For example, if you are being paid by Direct Deposit, your payments will continue by that method when your claim rolls over to the extension.
Debit Card Information:
If you are having problems using your debit card call 1-866-461-4096.
