The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is the principal fact-finding agency for the
federal government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. Data are
compiled by all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin
Islands. In cooperation with and under contract to the BLS, states provide
impartial, timely, accurate and relevant data that serve as key economic indicators
for the health of the nation. |
