4/20/2012 State’s Unemployment Rate Drops to 9.7 Percent in March
RALEIGH — North Carolina’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell 0.2 of a percentage point to 9.7 percent from February’s revised rate of 9.9 percent, as the number of persons unemployed decreased by 12,092 to 451,657.

4/27/2012 Unemployment Rates Decrease Across N.C. in March
RALEIGH — Unemployment rates fell in 98 of North Carolina’s 100 counties in March, increased in the remaining two counties. Unemployment rates declined in 85 counties, increased in 14 and, remained the same in one when compared to the same month last year.
