Employability Assessment Interviews: An Employability Assessment Interview (EAI) is a mandatory one-on-one,
in-person meeting between an unemployed individual receiving unemployment insurance benefits and a workforce specialist
at the local Division of Workforce Solutions (DWS) office. These interviews are mandatory for individuals who receive their
FIRST unemployment benefit payment on or after March 1, 2014.
